A real-time RT-PCR test intended for the qualitative detection of nucleic acid from Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 and SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal swab specimens collected from individuals suspected of respiratory tract infections, including COVID-19 by their healthcare provider. Available in two types which are wet version and lyophilized version.

The BioA Omicron Detection Kit v1.0 primer/probe sets are designed to detect viral RNA from Omicron specific SARS-CoV-2 S gene and current SARS-CoV-2 variants N gene in nasopharyngeal swab specimens. An additional primer/probe set to detect Human RNase P gene is also included in the panel. This gene serves as an internal positive control to monitor sample quality. IFU will be attached with every purchase.
