What We do
Here at BioAcumen Global, our expertise lies primarily in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), which is a scientific technique that is used to amplify DNA/RNA in samples containing small initial amounts of DNA/RNA. This technique has been widely used in our lab for diagnostics, genetics and food.
In addition, we are the official commission of Southeast Asia’s first and one of a kind lyophilization facility. Providing state of the art freeze-drying capabilities for life science products, these products can be transported in room temperature, aiding in providing convenience.
Dated today, we have established three brands which are TinyGene Academia, LyoBB Services and PawdyGene DNA Services. TinyGene is a first educational hub developed by local biotechnology company. Throughout TinyGene, the students can learn science with hands-on experiment. LyoBB Services is the extended lyophilization service to parents, in which we freeze dry the breastmilk to preserve the nutrients, extend shelf-life, free up the freezer space and prevent wastage. This concept supports Singapore’s topic of food sustainability. PawdyGene is the first pet DNA testing by using NGS. It can help pet owners to find out more about their pets and to get one step closer to them.
Not only in Singapore, but our business is also widely distributed internationally, especially in Southeast Asia. In 2021, the BioAcumen Thailand office was set up to support the Thai customers in time and even better.

We are motivated and strive to achieve the goals that we set from beginning. Successful in achieving in ISO 13485:2016 certification is a big milestone for us. It proves that we have a robust system in place and strict procedures that we follow to ensure the quality. One of the examples to prove our best quality is we have successfully obtained the full registration of SARS-CoV-2 with Singapore HSA in 2022.
Other than being a successful distributor of many products, we have successfully launched three in-house brands which are TinyGene Academia, LyoBB Services and PawdyGene. At BioAcumen Global, we are ever ready to accept new challenges and opportunities that come our way. We are committed to satisfy the needs of our clients and offer the best solutions.

The past 3 years have seen tremendous changes and growth in BioAcumen Global, with both our laboratory space and team growing exponentially. The company has also branched out into vastly different functions such as veterinary testing, contract manufacturing, educational outreach programs and breastmilk freeze-drying services.
Our traditional business in real-time PCR assay manufacturing has also seen many new multiplex detection panels coming through R&D, and we will continue to produce good quality IVD test kits under our ISO 13485 guidelines.
We hope to achieve greater heights in the coming years with our current business partners and our doors are always open to any who would like to join us on this exciting journey!
